The device is safely and firmly secured. This secure attachment ensures the safe removal of the device, preventing any potential damage. The aim is to permanently restore normal urine flow even after the implant has been removed, providing you with reassurance about the effectiveness of the procedure.

Once the reshaping of the urethra is complete, a second surgery under local anaesthetic is arranged to safely remove the device. This step is part of the comprehensive care plan to ensure your comfort and well-being.
